![]() ![]() Very difficult to pull it out at the beginning, but once you gain more experience this class is actually very fun to play. Keep in mind that this class can stall the game a bit if the player who uses it fell into analysis paralysis, so you have to be a fast thinker person to play the Voidwarden in a good way without actually annoying your friends. ![]() Voidwarden is suited for players who like taking their time to study the dungeon and planning the actions for a few following turns. Voidwarden Cards Overview (starting cards only) Voidwarden level 1 cards preview Try to play Master Influence as soon as you can to make the effects last longer also try to use the actions that add Curse in the enemies’ modifier deck in the first phase of a scenario to increase the possibilities for them to draw those cards. You will have to carefully study the board for best positioning and plan ahead your moves to use all the abilities on your cards at their full potential. She is the classic support character that stays behind the action and buffs allies while debuffing enemies. Voidwarden can be a powerful class if played in the correct way. Pretty good – many of her actions grant experience even though most of them are strictly related to the correct usage of some elements. She deals a good amount of indirect damage by forcing enemies to attack each other or granting your allies extra actions.īad – she is far away from the action and most of the time she will only pick up what others players leave behind. ![]() Pretty bad – she lacks good direct damage, it’s not her role. Anyway, you don’t really need that much movement as you mostly play away from the enemies. Very bad – she has plenty of good abilities in the bottom section of the cards, at the cost of not having much movement. Initiative ★★☆☆☆ Pretty bad – in a common build deck you will probably have just a couple of cards with fast initiative. You can play loss action cards with less pressure. Stamina ★★★★★ Amazing – with 11 cards in your deck is unlikely to run out of cards. Don’t move too close to the enemies unless you want to get easily killed. Health ★☆☆☆☆ Very low – she has 6 hp at level 1 and 14 hp at level 9. She also has useful crowd control abilities, where she gets enemies to attack each other or make them move under her control, and finally, she can heal the allies (but this comes often at the price of poisoning them). She excels in debuffing enemies by afflicting negative status and by cursing their modifier deck. Keep an eye out for the little treasure boxes (usually in the last room), those are worth going out of your way to grab, and you should know whether or not you can spare the action at that point in the dungeon. The Voidwarden is a support class that covers multiple roles in that spectrum. Try to determine when it's good to move towards the next door, if you have one character who can handle a remaining enemy, don't move the other character backwards to help, instead have him press on and start the next room.ĮTA: Don't try to get all the loot, especially when you're struggling, the game is designed to make looting difficult, end your move on a gold stack when it doesn't interfere, and play loot cards when you've got 3+ stacks in range, but otherwise keep your eyes on the goal. The notes about burn cards: It is absolutely ok to use burn cards early as some are arguing, but it does shorten your run substantially, until you get a feel for the game you should lean towards saving them unless you're sure it's worth it (for example, burning a big attack to prevent a summoner from summoning another enemy is a great idea, you can queue the card and just use the attack-2 if the summoner dies before it's needed). Using the default attack/move-2 never causes burn cards to be burned, so if you queue a burn card because you might need it, you can use the default action to save it if you don't end up needing the big effect. It maybe helpful to note that you can always use any card's top half as regular attack-2, and the bottom half as a move-2 to do this you click the little 2-sword/boot icons in the vertical center of the card on the left or right, click these instead of the big top/bottom half click regions. Don't rest early unless you can do absolutely nothing of value (at least until you get a feel for the game). You should always hold off on resting until you've discarded all your cards, even if a discarded card would be perfect for what you need this round, it's not worth burning a card to get it back. Dungeons are quite tight, you have to get the most out of every single card and action to be regularly successful, that means very few wasted actions or frivilous-burn-card uses. ![]()
